How we work

What makes Cafe Góc Phố different

A street corner, not a system.

Highlands Coffee can put a branch on every block. It cannot put a soul there. Cafe Góc Phố is one corner, one phin, one cup made for the person sitting in front of it — slow by design, specific by nature.

Worth the trip. Here is why.

As TikTok and Instagram surface Singapore's Vietnamese café scene, Cafe Góc Phố is the stop that earns a second visit — not for the aesthetic alone, but because the cà phê sữa đá tastes like someone made it for you.

Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

Is the cà phê sữa đá as strong and aromatic as back home in Vietnam?
Yes — we use Vietnamese robusta from the Central Highlands, brewed through a traditional phin at its own pace. The condensed milk ratio is adjustable, so you can ask for it the way you like it.
Do you use proper Vietnamese phin filters or espresso machines?
Every coffee here is phin-brewed. We do not use espresso machines for our Vietnamese coffee menu. The drip takes a few minutes longer — that is the point.
Can I find a quiet corner for work or a long chat without it being too loud?
Cafe Góc Phố is a small room by design. Unlike chain cafés, we do not optimise for throughput, so the noise level stays low and tables are not rushed. Reservations recommended for weekend afternoons.
Do you serve authentic Vietnamese snacks like bánh mì or street desserts?
Yes — the menu includes bánh mì and rotating Vietnamese street desserts alongside the coffee. Light bites start from SGD 8.
Is the price fair compared to Highlands Coffee or Trung Nguyên?
Coffee runs SGD 4–7, which is comparable to chain pricing for a significantly different experience. You are paying for a phin-brewed cup made to order, not a centralised batch.
How do I make a reservation or book a table?
Use the Reserve button on this page — it takes under a minute. Walk-ins are welcome when seats are available, but we recommend booking ahead for groups of three or more.
